BTW is thrilled to share news of the completion of South Taranaki’s latest road infrastructure project, as featured in Stuff. Last week, Ngā Rauru chair Mike Neho and South Taranaki District Mayor Phil Nixon cut the ribbon to officially open the district’s newest road, Te Ranganuku (formerly known as the Nukumaru Station Rd extension).
Our team at BTW are proud to have played a pivotal role, with skilled engineers, ecologists, planners and surveyors, collaborating with dedicated partners and stakeholders and working positively to manage effects on the environment (to include sensitive wetland habitats), to ensure the 8.3km road’s completion with precision and efficiency.
This project marks a significant improvement in transportation infrastructure, enhancing connectivity and accessibility for the local community and economic growth for the region. This milestone achievement also underscores our firm belief in the power of infrastructure to shape and empower communities, and in this instance, shaping a safer and more efficient travel route for residents and businesses alike.
Roading is a hot topic across Taranaki, with storm damage remedial work and upgrade requirements wide spread, as well as provision for better protection against future significant weather events. BTW are working across the region, providing professional services and partnering with mana whenua, councils and private developers on civil engineering projects that will better connect communities and provide resiliency. We are dedicated to delivering excellence in every project we undertake, and we’re excited to continue contributing to the development of communities across Aotearoa.
Creating a better future, since 1973
