BTW has been proud to contribute geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering expertise to the Kawaroa Destination Play project, a transformative community space in Ngāmotu, New Plymouth.
Working closely with project sponsors, local partners, and mana whenua, our team has supported the design and delivery of an innovative and inclusive play space that reflects Te Ao Māori principles and a deep connection to place.
Sustainability has been a key driver in the project’s design and construction. BTW’s Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) expertise, collaboration with local contractors and design partners, and a holistic approach, has helped in the creation of a space that fosters connection, play, and environmental stewardship for future generations.
