This weekend, our BTW crew competed in the Waikato Dragon Boating and Waka Ama Association race day. For us, it was a day to remember Jess Moser – our friend, colleague, and sister to Jacob. Both Jacob and Judy (Jess’s Granma) raced in our crew, Jacob in all 5 races.
A day to share together, with some hard work, plenty of fun and a 1st place in the ‘Nearly Dragons Final’. A few photos below captured on the day. Jess was with us in spirit and motivating us all the way.
Our team works smart, and we believe there’s more to life than punching the clock, so we’ve built a workplace ethos beyond our desks and beyond 8 to 5. At BTW, our culture is founded on embracing diversity in our team, work, and lifestyles. Participating in events like this, is one way we can come together, learn alongside each other, and have fun.
We recognise that a diverse and inclusive workplace that fosters creativity, innovation and sharing of knowledge ensures best practice, broad capability, and strength in delivery for projects.
Thanks to the organisers, everyone who participated and joined us on the day, to paddle and support.
Kia ora!
