The first Ko Nga Kowhitiwhiti field survey of the Tangaroa Stream in Waitara has been complete. Water chemistry samples were collected and sent for analysis, watercress vegetation samples were collected and infield monitoring equipment was used. Environmentally sensitive taxa were recorded as present! Thanks to those who attended and the Taranaki Regional Council who supplied the MCI equipment.
