Mathew Dickey (Structural/Civil Engineer) has recently returned from completing initial seismic building assessments of eight multi-storey buildings for the United Nations Department of Safety & Security in the Pacific region.
One building was located in Port Vila, Vanuatu, with the remaining seven buildings located in Suva, Fiji. The buildings are tenanted by United Nation agencies, and ranged from five storeys, to fifteen storeys high.
BTW Company sub-contracted GHD to assist with this work, and Mathew was working with Rob Collins (GHD Senior Structural Engineer) to complete the assessments.
